Private Health Insurance Fund

Claudia Cramer Dietitian is registered with all Private Health Funds, so individuals with Private Health Insurance (Extras) may be entitled to rebates for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) Services, please check eligibility with your fund prior to consultation as The rebate will depend on your level of cover. No referral is needed to see us when claiming with private health.

How to claim:  

 You will be issued with a receipt after the appointment that you can submit to your private health fund. 


With some chronic conditions, your GP may choose to refer you through a Team Care Plan.  If this is the case, you can get a rebate for your appointment under the Medicare initiative.  A copy of this plan and a GP referral letter is required at the time of consultation. 

How to claim

You will need to pay for your consultation in full at time of appointment You will be issued with a receipt after the appointment that you can submit to Medicare.  Currently dietitian rebates are $52.95 per session. Discuss your eligibility for this referral with your doctor.

Medicare provides rebates for dietitian appointments. To be eligible for this rebate you must have a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Care Plan from your GP. 


Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled Appointment will incur a 50% payment.
