Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Hi! These terms explain how working with me works, what you can expect from me, and what I ask of you. They apply when you book or use any service from CC Dietitian (Claudia Cramer, Accredited Practising Dietitian, trading as CCDietitian, ABN 70 831 495 590). By booking, you agree to these terms. If anything's unclear, just ask.
1. My services
I offer dietetic services by telehealth (video, or phone if video isn't working), anywhere in Australia:
- Initial consult: usually about 45 minutes, plus your personalised plan in your client portal.
- Review consults: about 30 minutes, booked whenever you need one.
- Ongoing coaching: fortnightly check-ins, plan and recipe updates, and email support between sessions.
- Funded services: Medicare (GP Chronic Condition Management Plan), DVA and NDIS.
- Organisations: quoted and agreed separately in writing.
Current prices are on my website and booking page.
2. What dietetic care is (and isn't)
My advice is tailored to the information you give me, so please tell me about your health, medications and any changes as they happen. My services don't replace your GP or medical care, and I'm not an emergency service. If you need urgent help, call 000. If something is outside my scope, I'll refer you to the right professional.
Everyone's body is different, so I can't guarantee specific results, such as a set amount of weight change in a set time. What I can promise is evidence-based advice and genuine support.
3. Telehealth
All sessions are by telehealth. You'll need a quiet, private space, a device with a camera and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. If the video drops, I'll call you on the mobile number in your file. Please also complete the Consent and Agreement form before your first session.
4. Clients under 18
I'm happy to see clients under 18 with a parent or guardian's consent. A parent or guardian needs to complete the forms and is welcome to join sessions.
5. Payment
- Private clients: payment is taken at the time of your consult through my practice management system (Zanda), using the card on file.
- Private health: you pay the full fee, then claim from your fund if your extras cover includes dietetics.
- Medicare: you pay the fee, and the Medicare rebate is claimed for you. You pay the gap. A valid GP plan and referral is needed before your first session.
- DVA: sessions are bulk billed to DVA, so you pay nothing. A valid referral is needed before your first session.
- NDIS: services are invoiced to you or your plan manager at NDIS price guide rates, as set out in your signed service agreement.
Prices may change from time to time. Ongoing coaching clients get at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
6. Ongoing coaching
- Your initial consult is paid separately. Coaching is then $85 a week, billed weekly to your card on file, starting from the week of your initial consult. Your first coaching week covers your plan being built and delivered, plus email support while you get started.
- Your fortnightly check-ins are booked in for you. If you can't make one, let me know at least 24 hours before and we'll move it within the same fortnight.
- Missed check-ins aren't refunded, as your weekly fee also covers plan updates and email support.
- To stop coaching, give me 2 weeks' notice by email. Billing stops at the end of your notice period, and you're welcome to use your remaining check-in and email support during that time.
- Pausing: if life gets in the way (travel, illness, a new baby), ask me about pausing rather than cancelling.
7. Changes and cancellations
Life happens, and I get it. To keep spots available for other clients:
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. You can reply to your booking email or reschedule in your client portal.
- Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee.
- If something genuinely urgent comes up, let me know and we'll work it out.
- If you're late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time.
For funded clients:
- Medicare: Medicare doesn't cover missed appointments, so any late cancellation fee is charged to you privately.
- DVA: no cancellation fees are charged to DVA clients.
- NDIS: short-notice cancellations are handled in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and your service agreement.
8. Refunds
Under the Australian Consumer Law, my services come with guarantees that can't be excluded, including that they will be provided with due care and skill. If you're unhappy with a service, please contact me within 14 days and I'll work with you to put it right, which may include a refund where appropriate.
I don't give refunds for a change of mind once a consult has taken place or a coaching week has started.
9. Communication between sessions
Ongoing coaching clients can email me between sessions. I reply within 2 business days, Monday to Friday. Email isn't monitored for emergencies, so please don't use it for anything urgent.
10. Your plan and my resources
Your plan, recipes, guides and resources are for your personal use. Please don't share, sell or publish them. You're welcome to share your plan with your GP, family or anyone supporting your care.
11. Ending our work together
You can stop working with me at any time (for coaching, see section 6). I may also end or pause services if I believe another professional would better meet your needs, if fees remain unpaid, or if behaviour toward me becomes unsafe or abusive. If that happens, I'll explain why and help with referral where I can.
12. Privacy
I collect and store your health information securely, as explained in my Privacy Policy at ccdietitian.com/privacy-policy.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any indirect loss, or for outcomes resulting from information you didn't share or advice that wasn't followed.
14. Feedback and complaints
I'd love to hear if something isn't working. Please email me first and I'll respond within 5 business days. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman (Queensland) at oho.qld.gov.au or 133 646, or Dietitians Australia at dietitiansaustralia.org.au.
15. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on my website, and current coaching clients will be told by email about any significant change.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
